About

Neuroscience Practice Institute (NPI) is lead by the experience of Dr. Geoffrey Colino. For over two decades, Dr. Colino has explored the behavioral and physical sequelae of neurological disorders amongst his patients while utilizing the most state-of-the-art technologies and the most objective assessment techniques. His guiding principle in Forensic Neurology is the presentation of an abundance of objective facts and minimal opinion and speculation.

As an Oxford-trained philosopher and experienced clinical neurologist, Dr. Colino has keen analytical skills and provides expert witness testimony, medical record review, as well as complex case and second opinion evaluations.

NPI’s Forensic Neurology services include meticulous, quantitative, medical record review and summary, complex case analysis, comprehensive history and physical examinations, judicious use of ancillary testing (e.g. CT, MRI, fMRI, PET, SPECT, EEG, Evoked Potentials and Laboratory Studies) and clear courtroom summaries and presentations.

  • Evaluate patients and provide expert witness testimony in criminal matters, including capital and non-capital criminal offenses, civil matters, personal injury and malpractice cases.

  • Review and assess medical records pertaining to neurology cases, including malpractice litigation.
